UNG is a premium woodworking studio based in Israel. Its wordmark draws inspiration from the geometric cuts and modular nature of woodworking. Designed as a bilingual, modular system, the wordmark shifts fluidly between languages and configurations. The lockup features a customized version of Radim Peško’s Paabo alongside Eran Ben Barak’s Protest, both chosen for their shared structural qualities, allowing them to bridge Hebrew and Latin scripts seamlessly.
The color palette is drawn from the bold hues of power tools. The typography complements the angularity of the wordmark, with both fonts sharing a consistent line weight and geometric foundation.
